Root Samsung Fascinate and install custom recovery [One step to ICS How to guide]

Own a Samsung Fascinate? Looking for a tutorial to root your smart phone? Well you just could not get luckier than today. Below is a complete guide for rooting and installing custom recovery on Samsung Fascinate smart phone.
Before you proceed, please make a note of it that the staff at technoflames will not be responsible for any damage resulting during or after the installation. Further more, you should make a note of the following precautionary measures before proceeding: Ensure your battery is at least 60% charged (100% is recommended); Backup phone data and turn USB Debugging on by tapping Menu>>Settings>>Application>>Development from your home screen and make sure USB debugging option is checked.
Basic Requirements:
- Sasmsung Fascinate smart phone
- USB data cable and installed Samsung Driver on your personal computer.
Step wise guide for installation:
- Download the following software on your personal computer: ClockworkMod Recovery-CWM2.5_Voodoo.tar.md5, stock_kernel.tar.md5 and su-2.3.6.1.x.zip
- Download Odin and run program.
- Turn the phone off and remove battery.
- Enter the download mode by holding volume down while you plug the USB cord, attached to your system, to the smart phone.
- A small box in the second row in Odin will turn to yellow and added will appear as the message in that box.
- On the very right side of Odin screen, you will see the PDA button. Select it and search CWM2.5_Voodoo.tar.md5 which was downloaded in step 1.
- Select start in Odin. Once the process is done, a message of succeeded 1 / failed 0 will appear and the screen will go blank.
- Step 9 is for rooting Android Froyo. If it is Gingerbread, go to Step 10.
- Unplug phone and click on RESET option in Odin. Perform step 4 to take the smart phone back into download mode and recognized by Odin. Now click on the PDA button again and search stock_kernel.tar.md5 file which was earlier downloaded. Now click Start and you will be notified by Odin once the process has completed successfully.
- Unplug the phone and insert back the battery. Head over to Recovery mode by pressing Volume up + Volume down + Power button. Once in Recovery mode, select Install zip from SD Card >> zip from SD card and then select su-2.3.6.1.x.zip. Recovery will then perform a zip file flash.
- Once done, go to main menu and Reboot System.
Your Samsung Fascinate is now rooted and Clockworkmod Recovery is installed.
