Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 10” 3G/4G (GT-P7500) and install ClockworkMod recovery [How to go ICS]

By

I have been getting in dozens of mails from our fans who have asked me to include a post on how to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 3G and 4G. Here is a post for model: GT-P7500 for rooting and installing ClockworkMod recovery guide. For noobs, remember, rooting your device lifts all available restrictions allowing you to get the most out of your gadget (Similar to jailbreak in iOS) and is the first step to installing ICS ROMs on the Galaxy Tablet. Rooting also voids device warranty, hence use it at your own risk.

Before we proceed further, please be aware of the process you are going to perform as the staff at technoflames will not be responsible for any damage resulting after or during the rooting process.

The following tutorial will include rooting methods for both 3G and 4G versions:

i have 3g samsung 10.1 after the root . 3g and mobile network settings dissapeard. can you please help how to get it back

  • John

I tried this procedure for my P7500 4g and was not successful. I ended up in a boot loop and any time I went to access the “Box” option to clear the cache and do a reboot the recovery screenwould not come up. If I selected the Bot icon it would work as expected but the first time I got stuck inthis loop I didn’t have the “odin” pc interface and a working recovery file. Someone responed to my plea and now I can easily back out of the mentioned process above.

I have since retried it twice with the same results. What I might do is re-download the two files and retry to see if it will work.
