Snowbreeze 2.9 For iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Available Now

iH8snow, the guy behind Sn0wbreeze, has just released a new version of his popular jailbreak tool that includes pod2g’s iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak. However, that is not it, he has also incorporated number of features in the utility. You can now find old firmware support (all the way back to iOS 3.1.3) and an IPSW downloader in the new version of Sn0wbreeze. This is a full list of all the changes in Sn0wBreeze v2.9, as noted on iH8sn0w’s blog:
- Brought back old firmware support in one release!
- GUI Improvements
- You can now build IPSWs with TinyUmbrella/iFaith blobs!
- Removes OTA Updates/badge on iOS 5.x.x.x+ devices
- Added an IPSW Downloader
- Built-in iREB functionality updated from newest iREB r5 module
- Custom Packages in Expert actually works now. :p
- All supported firmwares in this release are untethered
The effective jailbreak tool supports all firmwares from iOS 3.1.3 upto 5.0.1 except for iOS 4.3.4, 4.3.5 and iOS 5 which iH8sn0w says are coming soon. However the tool is just for A4 devices and so for A5 devices you will need to wait more. Stay tuned for more updates about untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1.
