It has been six times already that Apple ranked the highest in smartphone manufacturers and still Apple didn’t let go the spot for the seventh consecutive time. Apple according to J.D. Power and Associates is ranked highest among smartphone manufacturers in customer satisfaction.
ICS is on fire. Every Android OS, prior to the release of Ice Cream Sandwich, is now being regarded as SECOND in line. Eventually, Google’s hard work and detailed attention for making the most successful Android OS has finally paid off.
One of the best thing that makes Google’s Android different from other mobile OS is that the software can be installed on almost any smartphone or tablet because Google has kept it open source. Google also allows Operating System feel and look customization allowing different smartphone manufacturers to offer different outlooks.
HTC has just made an official announcement that it has added bootloader unlock support to further enhance the development community.
It was past summer that HTC announced that it would allow users to unlock bootloaders on some of their Android smartphones. HTC has now revealed its latest tool to unload bootloader on all phones launched after September 2011. HTC has also announced that it is working to make bootloader operational on its smartphones launched before September 2011.
It seems as if Apple and patent troll Digitude Innovations have got into some sort of agreement. Earlier in December, Digitude unleashed its first attack over major smartphone makers which include RIM, Nokia, HTC, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Sony and Amazon. Patent infringement cases were filed with the International Trade Commission. Amazingly the only smartphone that made it through was the Apple iPhone even though Apple owned the major patents that were used against the rest of the smartphones.
